Traveling to Antarctica is to face the planet naked; as it is… and therefore, to contrast it with us human beings with all our complexity. When confronting Antarctica, the immediate shock turns into a sentence that is repeated over and over again: “this is another planet”.
Antarctica has characteristics that cannot be found in other parts of the planet and it represents a unique place in the world.
