“Zurita, you’ll see not seeing”

Documentary film about the Chilean poet by filmmaker
Alejandra Carmona Cannobbio

This documentary film portraits Raúl Zurita not only as a great poet – one that has captured his work on paper, on the Chilean geography and even on his body – but also as a rocker, a human rights activist, a public figure and a tireless struggler. For this film Riolab contributed with an overhead shot of ships that sank in the Talcahuano bay in the 2010 earthquake and tsunami.

“Many sentences define the film: that finding healing through art is possible, that one should not fear facing pain, that injustices should not be overlooked and that we must turn life into a work of art”.
– Alejandra Carmona Cannobbio, director and screenwriter
